1. Service and agreement
These terms apply to the ShadowCursor website, accounts, desktop software, tokens, and support. By using the Service, you agree to these terms and the linked policies. You must be at least 18 and have capacity to enter this agreement. If acting for an organisation, you must be authorised to do so.

Account service: Google sign-in, credit balance, desktop Access key generation, and Razorpay checkout use the connected account portal. Desktop downloads are currently paused. macOS is coming soon.
2. Google sign-in and your Access key
Google is the sign-in method offered on the website. Google supplies the verified identity information needed for your account; ShadowCursor does not receive your Google password. Email/password and email-code sign-in options are not offered in the current interface.
ShadowCursor provides an Access key linked to your account for use in a compatible Windows release. Keep that key private. Do not share or resell account access, and tell support promptly about suspected unauthorised use. The Access key identifies your ShadowCursor account; provider credentials are managed by ShadowCursor on the backend and are not supplied by customers.
3. Credits, prices, and usage
Choose a ₹199 or ₹499 credit recharge, or a custom whole-rupee amount from ₹500 to ₹10,000. Your dashboard shows your available prepaid balance in INR.
Usage charges depend on the content processed, model, and applicable service rate. Three free desktop requests are provided to new accounts as shown in the dashboard; after those are used, further requests are paid from the available balance.
There is no subscription, automatic renewal, or automatic recharge. Unused prepaid credit has no scheduled expiry while your account and the service remain active. Credit cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash except under the refund policy or as required by law.
4. Payments and digital delivery
Razorpay processes supported payments. Prices are in INR; checkout shows the final payable amount and applicable taxes before payment. We issue credit only after successful payment verification, not based on a browser message or pending transaction.
See the digital delivery policy for activation timing and the cancellation & refund policy for unused value, errors, and mandatory remedies. ShadowCursor does not collect full card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs, OTPs, or banking passwords.
5. AI processing and your content
In the Access key service, your chosen captures and question pass through ShadowCursor’s backend for AI processing. ShadowCursor manages the AI provider credentials and deducts the usage charge from your prepaid balance. Customers do not need a separate AI-provider account or direct provider billing for this service.
Only submit content you are authorised to share. You retain rights in your input and authorise processing needed to provide the requested service. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or non-unique; review it before relying on it. The Service does not replace qualified professional advice. Website and video examples are illustrative, not proof of live accuracy or response speed.
6. Privacy and retention
The privacy policy explains content processing and retention. Our Access key service policy is to clear screenshots, questions, and AI answers within one hour, while retaining essential account, token, and payment records separately. AI providers may have independent retention obligations.
Local clearing does not delete original imported files, copied text, saved output, or provider-held records. Do not use the Service as long-term storage.
7. Permitted use and software
Use the Service lawfully and only where screen capture and AI help are permitted. Follow our acceptable use policy, workplace obligations, privacy duties, and third-party rights. Do not use it for unauthorised assistance in assessments or interviews.
We grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the software subject to these terms and included third-party licences. Ownership of original materials remains with their respective owners. No monitoring bypass, invisibility, or detection avoidance is promised.
8. Availability, closure, and updates
Features may change and interruptions may occur. We may restrict access to address fraud, security risks, unlawful use, or material breach, with an explanation and support route where practicable. Contact support before closure if you have unused tokens or unresolved transactions. If a service change prevents use of paid value, applicable refund and consumer remedies remain available.
These terms are subject to applicable law and mandatory consumer rights. Competent courts and consumer forums remain available. Nothing excludes fraud liability or any right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. We will publish updates and provide appropriate notice of material changes.
