Download and start

Open the Windows app, allow it to load, and check that it is running.

Open the executable

Open the official executable. Use an elevated session only when your workflow requires it.

  1. Download the official file

    Get ShadowCursor.exe from the Windows download page. Keep the file in a location you can find again.

  2. Start a session

    Double-click the .exe. If an elevated session is needed for your workflow, right-click the file and choose Run as administrator.

  3. Allow the app to load

    Wait about 1-3 seconds. The first launch may take longer. Avoid opening several copies while the first one is loading.

Confirm that it is running

For the current preview, look for the ShadowCursor window or its process in Task Manager. Ctrl+Shift+Space shows or hides the main window when its shortcut is available.

Before sending anything, follow Prepare one question. Keep the question readable and make sure that the entire prompt is included.
